Our Annual Tradition: Picking out our Christmas tree

It’s hard to believe it’s already December. It seems like this year has flown by so quickly. We’ve had big moments this year with Matt graduating medical school, starting residency, traveling quite a few places and more. But one of my favorite things this time of year is going to get our Christmas tree. Matt absolutely loves Christmas. It very well is his favorite holiday.

There is something special about the annual tradition and making it a whole day affair. We headed out in the morning, went to our local farm, Exley’s, and then came home to do some other decorating in the house before decorating the tree at night. We like to get our tree pretty early in the month so we can enjoy it!

We’re making the most of these moments and taking it all in as we look forward to the rest of this season. Christmas is a big holiday for us - with family get togethers, dinners, birthdays (including Matt’s!), etc. What are you favorite holiday traditions?
